After using this handgrip for couple of photoshoot, I had felt more comfort with the grip and less strain on my wrist. There is more leverage and lifting / tilting up the camera is takes less effort. The mounting screw hasn't came loosen once so far and I had no incident reporting a loosen grip from the base of the camera. The craftsmanship is good and flawless. However I would like to see the skin texture of the grip to match up with the Leica D-Lux 8 body skin. It is not so much of a texture feel, but rather, I would love to see a synergise piece of equipment with a matching body and grip surface.
